𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘒𝘰𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘭 – In line with the celebration of Migrant Workers Day, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Region XII successfully conducted its first 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝙊𝙡𝙮𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙨 (𝙊𝙁𝙒𝙨) on Thursday, 𝟬𝟱 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙚 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 at Agreda Subdivision, City of Koronadal, South Cotabato.

The event brought together youth participants from various provinces within Region XII, offering them the opportunity to engage in a range of athletic competitions, including basketball and volleyball. A short session was also conducted by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Commission on Population Development (CPD) emphasizing the essentials roles they may contribute in the community. The activity aimed to promote physical wellness, unity, and values formation among OFW children, while also honoring the sacrifices made by their parents working abroad.

The department has expressed its intent to institutionalize the event as an annual program aimed at strengthening support systems for OFW families within BARMM and SOCCSKSARGEN region.
