Makati City- The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Region XII emerged victorious 3rd Place in the recently concluded ๐๐ข๐ค๐ก๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ข๐ก๐๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐๐ on ๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ held in DMW- National Capital Region Office, Makati City, showcasing the entrepreneurial excellence and innovative spirit of empowered women of the migrants sector in the country.
The regional winner, Ms. Rowena A. Cerodo, secured 3rd place in the national level of the competition with her business proposal, RoBi Vegie, a vegetable production enterprise. Her project highlighted value-added agricultural products made from locally sourced materials, with a strong focus on economic sustainability and women empowerment.
The competition is part of the departmentโs broader effort to support the economic reintegration of OFWs, especially women, through entrepreneurship, skills development, and inclusive growth programs.
