๐๐ช๐ต๐บ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ- The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) XII showed its continued support for OFWs and their families by joining the ๐๐ค๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ข๐๐ก๐ฎ ๐ค๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ง ๐ผ๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ (๐๐๐๐๐ผ) ๐๐๐๐๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ก ๐ผ๐ฌ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐พ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ค๐ฃ๐ฎ, led by OWWA RWO XII on ๐ ๐ช๐ก๐ฎ ๐ญ๐ฐ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ.

The event was held at The Farm at Carpenter Hill in City of Koronadal, honoring outstanding OFW families for their strong family values, successful return and livelihood efforts, and active role in their communities. MOFYA aims to recognize the sacrifices and contributions of OFWs while showcasing the strength and resilience of their families.



The DMW XII, represented by OIC Regional Director Samsudin T. Lintongan along with OIC Assistant Regional Director Jeanette E. Escaรฑo, expressed its full support for the initiative, emphasizing that recognizing outstanding OFW families helps promote the values of unity, perseverance, and responsible migration.



“Ang inyong mga kwento ay nagbibigay lakas at inspirasyon hindi lamang sa inyong mga komunidad, kundi maging sa aming mga lingkod-bayan na patuloy na nagsusumikap na mapabuti ang mga programa at serbisyong inilalaan para sa inyo.” RD Lintongan added.

The event was attended by the South Cotabato 2nd District Congressman Hon. Ferdinand L. Hernandez, partner stakeholders, LGU Representatives and OFW Association representatives. The ceremony also featured inspiring stories of awardees who used their experiences abroad to create better lives for their families and became role models in their communities. OFW Families from Banga, South Cotabato and Pigcawayan, Cotabato Province were recognized as winners in the land-based and sea-based categories, respectively.




DMW XIIโs presence at the MOFYA Regional Awarding shows its continued effort to work with partners in supporting the welfare and dignity of the migrantโs sector in BARMM and SOCCSKSARGEN region.
